MATTHEW Roser from Avon Valley Nissan received his trades certificate last Friday morning from Kerrie White of WPC Group.
Matthew completed his automotive technician (light) qualification on January 14, with the certificate handover officially recognising his achievement.
He is one of only two State-wide graduates this year as part of the Nissmap program, with both of them hailing from the country.
Facilitated by WPC Group, Nissmap is one of Australia’s most successful automotive apprenticeship programs.
The program offers an accelerated automotive apprenticeship over 2.8 years (compared to the usual four years), delivered in state-of-the-art training facilities, in conjunction with the Nissan Learning Academy.
Participants attend dedicated classes, working on Nissan components to ensure in-depth knowledge of Nissan’s technological advancements.
Upon completion, apprentices receive a Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology.
Presentation: Kerie White presents the certificate to Matthew Roser, with Avon Valley Nissan dealer principal Leonie Knipe.
