Datsun makes a comeback!
Carsguide.com http://Carsguide.com tells us that the Japanese brand that build the foundations for today’s Nissan empire, and converted tens of thousands of Australians to the strengths of the compact 1600 and sporty 240Z, is being readied for a new role in the 21st century.
Nissan is apparently preparing plans for a price fighting Datsun range that will sell in Russia, India, Indonesia and other emerging car markets.
But don’t expect any born-again Datsuns in Australia.
The good news is though – there are plenty of Nissan automotive apprenticeships available in Australia.
