This qualification is part of the automotive industry retail service and repair training package. It provides students with training that will enable them to repair and maintain cars, light vehicles and/ or motor cycles or particular components of vehicles such as steering and suspensions or cooling systems.
Applying safe working practices using and maintaining workplace tools and equipment selecting and using bearings, seals, gaskets, sealants and adhesives. Carrying out servicing operations inspecting and servicing engines, inspecting and service cooling systems. Testing servicing and charging batteries. Carrying out repairs to single electrical circuits, inspecting and servicing suspension systems. Service petrol fuel systems. Communicating effectively in the workplace plus units for light vehicles and motorcycle pathways.

Certificate III in Automotive Vehicle Body
This qualification is part of the automotive industry retail service and repair training package. It provides training that will enable students to repair and maintain the body or cars and other vehicles. Streams are available in body building, panel beating, vehicle glazing, vehicle painting and vehicle trimming.
